No special access issues
From Leonidio, drive towards Kosmas. After 12 km, turn right towards Paleochori. Continue for another 3 km and you’ll see the sectors on the right-hand side. Park at the sharp left turn, taking care with oncoming traffic.
From the parking, walk down the dirt road, turn left before the olive field and cross the river. Follow the traditional path to the obvious wall.
Jardin & Château: From beneath Maison, traverse the rocky slope to the left.
Château & Souvlaki (alternative): Shortly after crossing the river, leave the main path to the left at a right-hand bend (marked by a cairn). Follow steep uphill steps, some assisted by fixed ropes, to reach the hangout area beneath Château. From there, continue up the scree slope on the left to reach Souvlaki. If you wish to continue, it’s another calf-burning 25–30 minutes uphill to Gerovrachos.
Vaya: At the stone ruin of the sector, continue right on the traditional path, which brings you to the top of “La Maison.” After a few turns you’ll pass a larger goat house. Turn right here and follow cairns along the left side above the small valley. From this point you can either:
follow the well-marked trail to sector Vaya, or
stay closer to the dry riverbed to eventually reach Gerovrachos.
Maisonette: From Maison, head right, following a stony slope parallel to the riverbed. Cross the ridgeline to reach the sector.
