Description

Heggedalseggen has possibly got the highest concentration of hard boulders on Drammensgranitt. Steep bouldering on and around one impressive overhanging arete. The full arete line from sitstart is an power endurance test piece.

The landing is a bit rocky so a fair amount of pads and a spotter is recommended

Please keep a low profile, leave no traces, remove tickmarks, don't play music, enjoy!

History

Heggedalseggen was discovered by Andreas Eide in 2016.

Heggedalseggen

The area is access sensitive!

🚗/🚶‍♂️
From Heggedal train station walk/drive along Underlandsveien until you have crossed the railway tracks and continued for a couple of hundred meters. Then follow a steep gravel road up towards Rød gård.

NB: Access by car may only be done from Underlandsveien. Preferably park in the bottom of the hill or in a small pocket (2 cars) on the right side at the top. Make sure that parking does not block other traffic, and do not drive to or through Rød gård by any means.

🚶‍♂️
From the parking follow the pathway up past Underlandsveien 24C and B and continue upwards through the forest before taking the path to the right at the top. Follow the path for a couple of hundred meters until you see the big block on your left hand side.
