⚡️NEW since 2022!⚡️ This forgotten area was revitalized in 2022. Old problems have been rebrushed and repainted during the "Festival de l'escalade de bloc durable à Milly-la-Forêt". New circuits have been added and a path through the boulders has been established (marked by wooden poles). All Lines follow a C-shaped path and are easy to find and to follow. If you want to climb alongside friends of different grades, this area is for you, as it combines Yellow, Orange, Blue, Red and a long Black circuit!
Notable climbs:
Equilibrium 7b ⭐⭐⭐
Banco 7a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Un Centime 7a ⭐⭐⭐
Haute Pierre direct 6c
and many more...
📝 Information about naming:
All boulders are marked by their Circuit names. They're usually marked by the hardest circuit problem (for example Black20), followed by the second hardest (R20 = Red 20) and lest hardest (Y20 = Yellow 20). To be able to differ between Black and Blue, all Black problems start with 'Black' and all Blue problems start with 'B'.
🍁 Season:
The whole area is quite exposed and not covered by trees. A lot of boulders are fully cleaned and shouldn't take long to dry. But be aware, after a day of rain not all the roof climbs will be dry and cracks might be seeping with water, so make sure to avoid those. With a bit of wind and sun almost everything should be climbable. Don't climb on wet rock, thanks!
