Fragenstein

Small Crag with 10 routes. Nice view over Zirl and the Fragstein Ruin (old castle with two Towers). The Crag is located behind the Upper Tower. Climbing on compact limestone with crimps, pockets and side pulls. The bolts are in a good shape, however the top anchors are single points. The hike up the crag is nice, yet quite steep and tiring.

The Fragenstein Castle has been around since the early 12. century. First documentation of Ownership is only fount in 1227.
