Important Note: No climbing on/near the Bushman Paintings.
Drive:
When driving towards Traveller's Rest (coming from direction of Pakhuys). On downhill in a curve to the left, there's a steep gravel road with a metal gate. Usually it's actually easier to manouver your cas so that you are driving towards de Pakhuys (= uphill).
Go through the gate and CLOSE the gate, no matter whether it was opened or closed, just close it after you.
Drive a bit on the gravel road (140m) and take a smaller road to the left.
Drive that dirt track for about 500 meters, passing DRIVE THROUGH and park on the left in a large parking. There's room for good 10 cars or so.
Approach: 5 -15mins (depending where you go)
Take the trail leading South (parallel to the dirt track), the approach is 500m, mostly horizontal or dowhill. Approach by foot should take around 6 minutes.
For the far sector, continue driving up the road then take the left fork (BAD ROAD!) and park on the black slab.
Alternate Approach: 15 mins
follow the bicycle trail which goes along the top of the clifflike until it goes down onto a lower plateau. From here go left (off the bike trail) following cairn to the gulley.
