Description

Beauvais Télégraphe is a family friendly sector between a cluster of boulder areas (Beauvais) in the north forest of Fontainebleau.

The area consists of a short Black circuit with boulders up to 7C (La Boucle du Rempart), a Blue D+ circuit, a Yellow PD circuit and a white kids circuit. In the beginning of the area (Blue 1) there are 2 other kids circuits (White and Pink). These circuits connect Télégraphe to Louteville.
Some of the old blue markings of the old Blue circuit are still visible and can be climbed as well!
The Yellow and Blue circuit follow the same path and can be connected one after another.

📝 Information about naming:
The boulders are usually marked by the hardest circuit problem (for example Red20 or R20), followed by the second hardest (B20 = Blue20) and lest hardest (O20 = Orange20).

Single or important lines, will be marked by a short version of the line.

🍁 Season:
Télégraphe can be climbed all year around. It is though recommended not to climb after rainy days in the forrest because some boulders might take a while to dry. It's close to the parking and is easily approachable with kids as well.. Maybe not the quietest place during high season.

Varied climbing style from high slabs to technical faces and some overhanging boulders up to 7C.
