Beauvais Loutteville
The area no one knew existed and still features almost as many problems as the "well known" areas!
You can find anything from kids circuits to beginners (Green) to harder ones and some problems outside the circuits as well.
Easy to combine with the other two areas just next to this one, Beauvais Télégraphe and Beauvais Roches Noires.
Loutteville doesn't have many difficult single lines and is mostly a area to consider for an easy climbing day. For example doing one of the great circuits, which are suitable also for young and older people.
One line that stands out is definitely "Valse à 4 Temps" 7b ⭐⭐⭐⭐, which is a crimpy test piece that could be a moonboard problem.
📝 Information about naming:
The boulders are usually marked by the hardest circuit problem (for example Red20 or R20), followed by the second hardest (O20 = Orange20) and lest hardest (Y20 = Yellow20).
Single or important lines, will be marked by a short version of the line.
🍁 Season:
Loutteville can be climbed all year around. It is though recommended not to climb after rainy days in the forrest because some boulders might take a while to dry. It's close to the parking and is easily approachable with kids as well.. Maybe not the quietest place during high season.
🧗 Climbing style:
A lot of slaps and traverses. A good day to challenge yourself at slap climbing or some technical sideway climbs
Circuits:
🔵 virtual D => 34 lines (sometimes marked by a blue arrow)
Lots of different boulders, following the same path as the yellow and orange circuits.
🟠 Orange AD => 38
Long circuit going through the whole area with some spicy high-balls at the end.
🟡 Yellow PD => 32
Following mostly all the boulders of the orange circuit, with mostly easy problems and a lot of slaps.
🟢 Green F
Teenager circuit featuring around 30 problems.
