Beauvais Solitude!
The forgotten area in the Beauvais complex.
Hidden gems between overgrown old classics. Here you will probably be in complete solitude and maybe have a chance of finding unclimbed lines between old established ones.
Easy to combine with the other areas like Beauvais Nainville and Beauvais Hameau.
📝 Information about naming:
The boulders are usually marked by the hardest circuit problem (for example Red20 or R20), followed by the second hardest (O20 = Orange20) and lest hardest (Y20 = Yellow20). Here you will find a lot of single names or shortcuts for the virtualTD circuit (vTD).
Single or important lines, will be marked by a short version of the line.
🍁 Season:
The lines on the ridge can be climbed all year around, although most boulders are overgrown and not frequently climbed (making them dry less fast). It is though recommended not to climb after rainy days in the forest because some boulders might take a while to dry. It is more hidden than the other Beauvais areas and a lot of the paths and boulders are not easily visible.
🧗 Climbing style:
Varied climbing style.
Circuits:
🔵 virtual TD => 37 lines (sometimes marked by a blue or old red arrow)
A confusing mess of boulders not easily findable without 27 Crags.
