No special access issues
There are two main spot where it is possible to leave the car and get to the crags: Baone car park and the Arco olive grove car park.
The road to Baone car park is quite bumpy and has some narrow passages, so if you have large cars it is reccommended to park in Chiarano village or use the Arco olive grove car park.
🚗 Arrival:
- Baone car park: coming from Arco head to the Arco hospital, then go over the SPA hotel "Casa di cura Eremo" and turn right. Drive straight through the houses of Chiarano and just after a stone arch there is a car park (for larger cars). Now take "Via al Monte" on the left of the fountain, then take the left street on the first crossroad, following the brown signals "Padaro S. Giovanni". You will get into the olive grove of Chiarano. In the next crossroad it is possible to turn right or get the straight ahead uphill road. If you go right keep following the road for 250m then turn left, otherwise go upside the bumpy road and take the first right turn. Placche di Baone sectors will be visible from there and the car park is just below the crag.
- Arco olive grove car park: from the Arco town center head to "Laghel" village and keep following the uphill road until you get to the arboretum of Arco. Stay on the main road which turns to right and at the crossroad you will find the car park.
🚶♂️ Sectors:
- from Baone car park:
Go along Placche di Baone crags, leaving it on the left. Go through the large path for about 400 meters. Always keep left until you get to a crossroad showing "Percorso Alpinistico 92° Congresso". Do not take this path, but go over it and you will find the Bus de la Stria crag on the left. To get to the first sector take an evident path on the left, while for the others go through the olive grove few meters ahead.
- from olive grove of Arco:
Having the car park entrance in front of you, go left and left again after the memorial. Follow the beautiful road in the olive grove for 700 meters, until you see the Bus de la Stria crag. To get to the classical sector, follow the path for other 200 meters and take an evident path on the right. The other sectors can be reached by going through the olive grove some meters before the first sector access.
