Melkonen runttaus oli tämä, tuntee kiivenneensä

Lähtö undereista kuten kuuluu, omassa betassa tuli normi Peppuun nähden 4 lisämuuvia. Käytin knee padia. Se helpotti vähän lähtöä, mutta vaikeutti toppiotteeseen pääsyä. Mietin pitkään onko greidi 7B vai 7B+. Kun laskee kaikki hobittien lisämuuvit ja sen, että jouduin ottamaan tähän aivan hiton monta yrkkää, menee just ja just plussana.

Mulle tämä oli ihan tiukka. Hienot ja tasaisen vaikeat muuvit. Sekä voimallinen että tekninen.

Harder for small climbers

Old nemesis! Went easily when I stopped using right kneebar.

Probably the most difficult 7A I have ever climbed. I don’t even remember how many times I have tried this boulder, but today I finally managed to stick the first move and send. I had to use an extra pad to do a proper sitstart and reach the start holds. Beware of the 6A topout, it’s scary and dirty.

Technical and balancy. Good friction helps, I recommend climbing this when it’s cloudy. There is a reason why I call this one ”Sunslime” 😁

Really loved this one, every move was nice and technical! This is 7A in topo book. With my shortie beta, it definitely felt like a seven.

Hieno ja yllättävän tekninen!

Tiukkaa vääntöä alusta loppuun. Kaksi tähteä hienoista muuveista, mutta yksi miinustähti kauheista otteista ja alun däbikivestä. Minulle tämä oli ihan napakka, vois olla jopa 7B. Vaikeampi kuin moni muu kiipeämäni 7A+.

Climbed from the back of the roof. Topout is trickier than it seems.

Vaikea arvioda greidiä. Kulman ylitys lyhyellä sylivälillä vaati hetken miettimistä, mutta muuten reitti oli suoraviivainen ja omalla vahvuusalueella. Olin väsynyt toisen reitin projektoinnista, mutta silti meni ekalla varsinaisella sendiyrkällä toppiin.

So not my style. Needed a couple of extra pads to reach the starting holds.

Start as Kantti, then follow Rakkauden ajopuu (backwards) and topout as Martti Servo goes direct. I don’t know if someone has done this before me. It felt a little bit harder to me than Rakkauden ajopuu.

Nice one! Longish moves for a hobbit. I probably started lower than it was meant to be, but it felt logical that way.

This place is like a wind tunnel, always freakin’ cold! Sharp and balancy boulder with an uncomfortable topout. The scariest part is to jump down when you are finished.

Sitstart is difficult if you are short. I barely reached the start hold even though I had an extra pad.

More difficult than Napander if you are short. Also much nicer than Napander!
