Perfect day and a bivvy on Eiger Hilton. Don't underestimate the routefinding, and know that there is a new "via ferrata" to the left when coming from the telepherique

Note: since a couple of years ago there is a new via ferrata to the Marco e Rosa hut

It is easy to scramble down to V-skaret instead of abseiling. First pitch hard to protect with own gear but about 6 pitons in place. In august 2022 there was some cord with loops attached to a piton by Patchell's sva. With 70m rope it is possible to do one abseil down into Mohns Skar and then scramble the rest by going to the left and then back a bit.
