Fun mantle

This is my third time sending this. Not sure when the original date was...2021?

contrived, but a fun move to control the fall to latch the crimp rail

Wrestled with the top out many times until I beach whaled it, which is only appropriate given the looks and name of the Boulder. Glad to have sent this before it returned to the depths of the lake.

Corner to just to the left of the start for Machine Gun Etiquette. Great crew! Wear a mask!

My medium project this fall, 4 or so sessions? Finished off on the 1st day the temps really set in.

The topout was tricky, but instead of doing a layback/crack climbing, opened the elevator doors and pivoted left into the scoop. 2x for good measure. V5 or low end?

Evening session! Then I came home and made Pizza for everyone. Kinda scary at the top. Celebration yell at the top and the dogs howled.

Epic'ed this, punted a couple times after the initial couple of crux moves. Aaron with the upgrade from 3 to 4. 1st day climbing in Tahoe. What else did I send this day?

Closest boulders to our house! 2x

Big first move after pausing on the intermediate. Satisfying slap.

Scrunchy start, satisfying lay-back. Good warm up for New Yorker.

2nd day! Struggled on the topout flapping around with the feet.

Took a bit to warm up. Big reach up right before trusting the feet and balance for the topout. Left most line on the Parabola boulder at Minden.

Arete with the cool crescent hold up and right from Parabola.

Sketched by the sandy top. Short hillside boulder across from Megaman roof.

Right facing series of incuts and jugs on the Moon boulder (left of Andromeda). Tricky start to buckets!

Southeast corner of the Moon boulder. Scary for me!

I was scared of the top but all I had to do was walk up the ramp.

Shortly after skinny jumping into the river. Hard foot move to get the height to reach the lip.

Mostly the straight up variation, used a little smiley face hold out to the right. KCF FA.

Trusted the foot!

Lowball start, cool slopers.

Punted 1st day, went quick on the 2nd. Condensed!

Starts in the corner straight behind Barrel Aged. Wedged the stump in there to make a better start. Will it stay?

I found the name a bit offensive until I climbed the problem.

Struggled to find a way to pull off the ground AND power up, but made the move as soon as I did!

Nice movement for a warm-up. Full of spiderwebs.

This boulder has nice, friendly top-outs.

Comfy warm-up

Sent this one with a bright spotlight and headlamp...really wanted to get it done before dark.

Bit tricky/weird.

Used a high foot to pull up to the top of the boulder.

Highball, but one of the first topouts I didn't freak out on...ironically

Fun movement. I even liked the downclimb!

Flowed so well on the send! The sloper at the top is so satisfying to hit! Glorious Spring sun to greet me at the top out!!!

Flashed the first time, but dabbed on the tree. Second time just as swift! So fun! Feels more like a mine until it's padded!

Felt like I was going to fall off everything. A tryhard send!

An actually COOL traverse; slopey, balancey, good feet. The top of the boulder was a huge puddle and the tree downclimb was covered in melty snow...extra adventure. (First time I didn't curse when I got to the top.)

Much fun! Very ergonomic...probably closer to a V4

FUN, big movements and a friendly, though awkward top-out. Pebbles are not my favorite, however.

Clutch beta: second small right hand crimp near the top. 3 tries.

Called 'Tan Streak.' Hard for me! Was falling at the top, used the arete instead of the wet slot. High up there!
