Description

Volta de Nò is a nice crag located in a quiet area at the entrance of the canyon leading to Lomaso valley. It is composed of three nice walls. Two of them are close to each other and have 24 routes from 5c to 8a+. The lines are mainly vertical with some slightly overhanging parts and crimpers are never missing! The third wall is more challenging with many routes over 8a. It is more overhanging on crimpers, pockets and some tufas. The routes are 16, from 6c to 8b+ and start from a beautiful ledge.
All the lines are well bolted, the crag base is ok but pay attention on the ledge of the third wall (not for children!)

The area is very nice and quiet and offers a nice landscape over Arco. The ideal climbing conditions can be found during spring and autumn.

History

The Canton sectors were equipped by the unstoppable Sauro Merighi, while the third sector by Alessandro Gandolfo and Roni Andres. Some lines were bolted also by Jiri Leskovjan and Jihad Bresciani.
