Description

From an imposing valley of impressive, classic, hard highballs to a selection of easier shorter and scrappier boulders, Skuruparken has a great selection of routes on both top quality (and graffitied) rock. Rumour has it that Alex Megos has even climbed here. Nestled among forest, blueberry bushes and small cabins with a great view over Saltängen and Skurusundet (where there's a swimming area/badplats on a small beach with a brygga for cooling off after).
Easy walk-in with parking on the residential road of Tranvägen or bus stops close by (Saltängen or Skurustugan).
Pranayama is the absolute classic project for many, on the wave-like highball of Istiden. Dalen also offers some great routes. Dagisväggen has some crimpy gems. Utsikten is a selection of different routes, with some fun, shorter, easier lines mixed and some fingery harder problems (which can be quite high).

History

Most lines developed by Stefan Wulf and friends in 2011-12 with various later additions. Most recent development of easier lines and brushing of older routes by Shaun Hurrell and others. Some more potential for new lines especially highball slabs in the Istiden valley and to the left of Dagisväggen.
