Description

Skoe offers fun and varied climbing on mostly vertical terrain, but there are some slabs and overhangs as well. . Many of the routes are dominated by cracks and flakes, especially the left part of the main wall. The wall is about 15 to 30 meters tall. The two 6bs Totempålen and Bø-feber are really nice routes, and must-tries for climbers at that grade and Sommerfest is maybe Bø's finest 7c.

The wall is sun exposed, and some routes dry fast after rain. Loose rocks dislodged by the climber is not uncommon at Skoe. We advise you to wear helmets when climbing here, especially the belayer.

Skoe is not child friendly, due to rocks and steep terrain.

Skoe was discovered by Ole Karsten Birkeland and Henning Wang in 2005. During the next 5-6 years most of the obvious lines had been bolted and ascended.
