🚗 Arrival
Reach the center of Toscolano Maderno, specifically the roundabout just after the bridge. From here, follow the signs for Maclino.
Continue on the main road. Before entering Maclino, there is a hairpin bend; stay on the main road, following directions for Saclino / Vigole. Drive through the village of Vigole and continue until you reach Sanico.
In the center of Sanico, turn left onto the uphill road signposted for Vesegna. Drive for approximately 2.5 km until you find the car park on your left, in the locality known as Ortello di Sotto.
🚶♂️ Sectors
From the car park, take the forest road on the right that ascends into the chestnut trees, following trail marker number 27. The approach is significantly shorter than some signs may indicate; expect the walk to take a maximum of 30 minutes.
Follow the dirt road passing several junctions. Ensure to turn on the GPS and follow the trail of the topo. At an elevation of approximately 780 meters above sea level, the forest road splits: turn right here. The road soon narrows into a footpath and begins to descend.
Shortly, you will reach and cross a small wooden bridge on the side of the main climbing sector.
Lupo Sector: just before the wooden bridge, where the steps leading down to the bridge start, take a side trail branching off to the left. This trail leads to a short, exposed section where you use a fixed steel cable to climb up onto the ledge where the sector is located.
Note: This sector can also be accessed by climbing the route "Ho fame" in the main sector, as its belay is located on the Lupo ledge.
