Husvik

🇬🇧 Husvik is Tønsberg’s most popular climbing crag, and is located 5 km outside the city.
The crag stretches along a hillside where the climbing is divided into three sectors with short approaches. The crag offers mostly classic vertical and steeper slab climbing on volcanic rock. There are also some bouldering along the hillsides.

Family friendly crag. Do not park on private property. You can parke here: Husvik og Nes Vel Sjøstua, Jarlsøveien 42, or at Husvik skole, Bjørneveien 2.

🇬🇧 The development of Husvik started during the mid 90's when many of the obvious natural protected lines where climbed. During that periode there was most activity at the sector Arneveggen where some routes where bolted by hand, including the crags most famous route with the same name as the sector. Later in the 2000's the sector Grusveggen and Hovedveggen where developed. The bouldering activity started in 2010.
