No special access issues
🚗 "Hundshyltan - Juldagen" is a 30 minutes drive south west of Kalmar via Påryd (total 37 km from Kalmar, 7 km from Påryd). From Kalmar take E22 south west in the direction of Malmö/Karlskrona. After about 11 km take the exit towards Påryd/Tvärskog, take the third exit in the roundabout towards Påryd.
After reaching Påryd drive through and take a left turn towards Gullabo. Continue towards Gullabo for 7 km. After Hyndshyltan and driving past a clear-cut on both sides there is a good parking 🅿️ spot on the right side of the road.
🚶From the parking cross Gullabovägen and walk a few meters on the forest road. The boulder can be seen 130 m to the south. The boulder "Rudolf" is 50 m south west of the main boulder (it's looks small from this side but the south west side is a highball slab).
🗺️ The parking and suitable approach path through the clear cut are marked on the map.
• Follow "Allemansrätten".
• Be very careful to not hurt tree plants or other sensitive vegetation.
• Drive carefully and park where you don't block access for other vehicles.
• Do not litter.
• Keep a low profile.
• Remove tick marks and excessive chalk on holds.
• Be observant of any hunting in the area. If there is hunting going on then do not climb. Avoid the area during the first week(s) of elk hunting season which starts October 8.
