Description
What began as an outstanding isolated boulder has now developed into an outstanding venue, albeit one spread across quite a large area. The original Gallt yr Ogof boulder still sits with its hardcore testpieces - Smackhead, Regeneration and Sway On to name but a few - but is now accompanied by a series of satellite problems above and at least another 40 problems at the nearby Cost of Living area.
This is not a place for the feint of heart, either in terms of grade or location; exposed to the brutal wind that often whips down the Ogwen valley. This is a true boulderers crag but one that, with some effort, will yield excellent climbing in a fantastic setting.
