Description

In the canyon of Nerežišće on the north-western part of the island of Brač, there is a range of smaller rocks that has been developing as a climbing site since 2000, at the initiative of a local sport enthusiast Ivo Ljubetić. The rocks are surrounded by a beautiful pine forest, and one’s impression is enriched by the view of nearby place Bobovišća on the sea and a small idyllic village Ložišće. The village church tower that catches one’s eye is one of the most beautiful on the Adriatic coast. It is famous because the climbers climb the tower during festivities.

Some routes require rebolting (particularly sector Sikira). Access to sector F (Kanjon) is difficult (overgrown).

Accommodation: Camp Sutivan.
