No special access issues
Björkkärret is located 23 km south west of Kalmar, close to Nävraverke. The drive takes just under 20 minutes.
🚘 From Kalmar take E22 south towards Malmö/Karlskrona and after 11km exit towards Påryd/Tvärskog. Take the third exit in the roundabout towards Påryd.
🅿️ After following road 520 for 12 km, ~500 meters after the Nybrogrus quarry, there is a paved parking marked with a sign on the left hand side of the road.
🚶🏽♀️ The main boulders "Freak Scene" are 100 meters from the parking spot (to the north-west, opposite side of the road as the parking). From "Freak Scene" you reach the boulders "Lilla Eken" by walking through the forest 80 meters to the north-east. To reach "Sprickan vid vägen" from "Freak Scene" it's easiest to walk west towards the gravel road and then follow the road north.

To prevent access issues please:
• Follow "Allemansrätten".
• Be very careful to not hurt tree plants or other sensitive vegetation.
• Drive carefully and park where you don't block access for other vehicles.
• Do not litter.
• Keep a low profile.
• Remove tick marks and excessive chalk from holds.
• Be observant of any hunting in the area. If there is hunting going on then do not climb.
