Description
Villette is located at 800/850m in a birch forest in the beautiful Vigezzo valley. The rock is mostly mid quality gneiss/paragneiss with big crystals. It can offer many different styles of climbing, from slabs to roofs. Mainly very crimpy, but slopers and wide pinches appear sometimes. Perfect for climbing in middle seasons or even in winter if you are looking for extra grip, a bit too hot during summer months but still climbable, especially in the late afternoon after a swim in the river. Few high boulders have been bolted some 30+ years ago, bring the rope if are interested. In autumn you can find mushrooms.
