The routes at "Graue Wand" gets sun in the afternoon. All other sectors are quite shady. So climbing is possible all year round.

There are no rain proof routes but "Graue Wand" dries fast in Winter.

Go there if you like cracks. All routes are rather short and rock quality is compact and flat. "Graue Wand" offers a bunch of good slabs while "Verbrechereck" is a totaly clean climbing sector with good logical lines on cracks and dihedrals.

All sectors are not highly frequented, so there's a lot of vegetation growing what makes the crag's base not very suitable for kids. Access is short though, so you can go check it out if it fits to you.

Accommodation, shopping facilities and Restaurants are located in "Streitberg" and Muggendorf" Next biger Town is Ebermannstadt where you find anything you need for shopping. Nice swimming - pool is in "Streitberg"
