The sector stretches from the point where the Barman merges into the Resia all the way past the bridge a little bit after the village of Lischiazze. It's divided into "Barman Basso" from the river Resia to a few hundred meters past the pedestrian bridge just before Lischiazze, and "Barman Alto" from the farm all the way upstream. It is all boulders in the riverbed or very close to it so the rock tends to be smoothed and rounded by the action of the river but the stile ends up beeing quite different from that of the boulders on the Resia since it tends to be a lot steeper, more physical and on more featured walls. The rock is also less omogenous than that of the Resia but it's still all limestone of different sorts.
This area is a bit less dense and quite a lot longer but the walk-ins are still from very short to short and quite easy if you aren't in winter, then be careful with the ice on the rocks...
