Approach: About 200m before entering La Morera de Montsant on the TV-7021, turn left onto a road signposted L’Escaladei, which effectively circumnavigates the village. Just after passing the final houses turn right onto a track (surfaced for the first 300m) signposted El Camí de l’Escaladei and follow this for 850m to large clearing on the right (P4). On foot, follow a wide track leading towards the cliffs. A few metres after reaching the upper edge of a field of vines, turn right onto a smaller trail (cairn) which quickly leads to a junction with a more prominent path coming in from the village. Turn left and follow this path for 150m then turn right onto a side-path signposted with a symbol of an abseiling climber. This is actually the path leading up to the Montsant Via Ferrata, which has now been fully refurbished and makes a fine (and not trivial!) expedition for rest days. The huge boulder of Totxo de la Morera is encountered after approximately 150m of ascent, with the smaller block of La Punyalada just to its right and slightly higher (10 minutes from P4). Totxo de Dalt: pass between Totxo de La Morera and La Punyalada then continue uphill following a vague trail through the trees for approximately 50m to the next large boulder (12 minutes from P4). Totxo Salfores: as for the previous approaches but from where the Via Ferrata path starts, continue along the main footpath for a further 200m (the totxo soon becomes visible) before dropping down and left to the base of the boulder (10 minutes from P4). Totxo del Vilar & Totxos del Barranc de la Grallera: begin as for the previous approaches but on passing the field of vines and reaching the main path coming from La Morera, turn right and follow this back towards the village for approximately 150m. The twin boulders are a few metres above the path (7 minutes from P4).
