No special access issues
Follow all NPS rules and LNT ethics. Park at Smith Roach gap. Hike the fire road for about .75 miles until you pass some boulders right on the road. A few hundred feet past these boulders the Xmas boulder will be visible down to the right approximately 300' from the road.
