No special access issues
There are two ways to reach the sector:
From Below:
Park at the large parking lot near the wooden kiosk, which locals use for contemplation, or the occasional cigarette break. From there, start hiking up the stone steps, following the blue (though already fading) paint dots and cairns.
Approximate times: 5-minute drive from Leonidio, 60-minute hike.
From Above:
Find the approach to Sector Theatro, abseil in, and continue descending at the far left end via a simple rope-assisted via ferrata. Note: the rope is too stiff to use with a GriGri, so you’ll need to treat it like a true ferrata—staying safely connected with your own lanyards while climbing and pulling on the rope.
Approximate times: 25-minute drive, 20-minute hike, 20-minute descent.
