⛰️A wall featuring over 60 routes, well developed and harmonious in structure, stands as one of the key reference points of the entire Lanaitto climbing area. Facing the sun, it offers ideal conditions during the cooler seasons, while in summer it becomes especially pleasant in the late afternoon, when the wall falls into shade and temperatures grow more manageable.

The climbing is predominantly technical: slabs and vertical walls define the style, demanding precise footwork, balance, and careful route reading. The grey limestone is of excellent quality—compact and well featured—with clean holds and natural formations that make progression elegant and consistently engaging.

From a historical perspective, this was the first wall in the Lanaitto area to be bolted and to see climbers move across its lines. It therefore holds symbolic as well as sporting value: the development of the area began here before gradually expanding to the surrounding sectors.

Today, it remains a beautiful and complete crag, offering high-quality climbing in a sunny and scenic setting while preserving its original character.

⛰️Una parete che conta oltre 60 linee, ben sviluppata e armoniosa, rappresenta uno dei punti di riferimento dell’intero comprensorio di Lanaitto. Esposta al sole, offre condizioni ideali nelle stagioni fresche, mentre in estate è particolarmente piacevole nel tardo pomeriggio, quando la parete entra in ombra e le temperature diventano più favorevoli.

L’arrampicata è prevalentemente tecnica: placca e muri verticali dominano lo stile, richiedendo precisione nei piedi, equilibrio e lettura attenta della linea. Il calcare grigio, di ottima qualità, è compatto e ben lavorato, con appigli netti e strutture naturali che rendono la progressione elegante e mai banale.

Dal punto di vista storico, questa è stata la prima parete del comprensorio di Lanaitto a essere attrezzata e a vedere i primi climber muoversi sulle sue linee. Ha quindi un valore simbolico oltre che sportivo: qui è iniziato lo sviluppo dell’area, che negli anni si è poi ampliata ai settori vicini.

Oggi rimane una falesia bellissima e completa, capace di offrire arrampicata di qualità in un contesto solare e panoramico, mantenendo intatto il suo fascino originario.

⏪⌚The history of the bolted routes on this wall dates back to the 1990s, when Letis and Oviglia established the first lines, initiating the systematic development of the crag.
In the 2000s, further expansion was carried out by Piguet, Boi, and other local climbers such as Fancello, who contributed to increasing the number of routes and consolidating the technical identity of the sector.
It is important to note, however, that the very first vision of the wall’s potential and the earliest exploratory ascents were the work of Gianni Pinna. He was the first to recognize the value of the line and its possibilities. His name remains closely tied to the history of the crag, also in memory of his untimely death in a road accident.

⏪⌚La storia delle vie attrezzate su questa parete inizia già negli anni Novanta, quando Letis e Oviglia realizzano le prime chiodature, avviando lo sviluppo sistematico della falesia.
Negli anni Duemila il lavoro prosegue e si amplia grazie all’intervento di Piguet, Boi e di altri climber locali, tra cui Fancello, che contribuiscono ad arricchire il numero delle linee e a consolidare l’identità tecnica del settore.
È importante ricordare, tuttavia, che la primissima intuizione della linea della parete e le prime salite esplorative furono opera di Gianni Pinna. Il suo sguardo pionieristico colse per primo il potenziale della falesia. La sua figura rimane legata in modo significativo alla storia dell’area, anche in ricordo della sua prematura scomparsa in un incidente stradale.
