Spartia

A short but powerful crag located close to Spartia and within easy reach of the greater Alepochori area. The routes are technical in places, demanding precise footwork and solid technique but mainly a good amount of athletic power.
While several lines are in urgent need of rebolting, the sector’s one minute approach and surprisingly diverse range of grades make it well worth a visit if you’re climbing in the area.

The sector was originally equipped in the late 1990s by the well-known Patras developers Giannis Torelli and Aristos Thanopoulos, whose work played a key role in establishing many of the region’s early sport climbing areas.
