Sopnjača

Relatively new climbing spot high on the slopes of the Velebit mountain. This is interesting small amphiteatre with yellow and grey rock. Routes are good with nice holds, interesting passages and in overhanging terrain. It is shade whole day in summer and ambiance and feeling are good. Only disadvantage is a long approach ( cca 40 mins).
There is potential for more nice routes, and very hard ones too. Not so much easy stuff...

First routes are bolted by German climber Wolf Schnitzel. Later a local climbers Josip Grdović and Marin Marasović have taken a leading role.
