While the sport climbing on the ignimbrite tuff is what made Smith famous, it's the uber-technical climbing on the basalt rimrock of the upper and lower gorges that I love best.

Truly a special place with a great community. It might seem like a sleepy backwater by modern standards, and the climbing is very technical, but it's worth visiting!
