🏊🏻♂️ The approach to Serenella is quite different with respect to the usual crags. Firstly, reach Riva del Garda and park the car near the city center. To get to the crag it is necessary to rent a paddle boat, a kayak or a small boat. Rentals can be done in the city center of Riva del Garda near the “MAG Museo Alto Garda” or by the lake beaches such as "Spiaggia Sabbioni". When you get your transport, sail to the western shore of the lake, pointing at the large yellow building of the hotel "Vecchio Porto Excelsior". The Serenella crag is 100 meters further south. Pay attention to the boats!!
🚶♂️ La ponta has a standard approach. From the city center of Riva del Garda head to the beautiful “Sentiero del Ponale” and start following it. Note that there are some car parks close to the starting point of the path, but they are often full and we highly suggest a short walk through the nice Riva del Garda center.
Follow the Ponale road for about 5 minutes and look for a path that detaches on the right, 10 meters before the first tunnel. Just follow this trail that is indicated by red dots till you reach the crag. This trail is not long but it is quite steep, so pay attention.
