⛰️The San Lorenzo area is characterized by the presence of two distinct crags, very different from each other in terms of setting and features.
The first is nestled בתוך a canyon: a striking and enclosed environment, always in the shade and well protected from nearly all winds. This makes it particularly appealing during hot periods or on windy days. Access, however, is not immediate: to reach the base of the routes, it is necessary to follow a short equipped section, similar to a small via ferrata. It is a distinctive and fascinating passage, but not suitable for families, for those who suffer from vertigo, or for anyone unfamiliar with this type of progression.
The second crag is more exposed and airy. The approach is slightly more complex compared to other areas, but the setting and the quality of the wall more than compensate for the effort. Here, climbing develops on compact limestone in a more open and panoramic environment compared to the canyon.
In both cases, the rock is good-quality limestone. The proximity to the village of San Lorenzo is an additional advantage, making the area logistically convenient and easy to reach.

⛰️La zona di San Lorenzo è caratterizzata dalla presenza di due falesie distinte, molto diverse tra loro per ambiente e caratteristiche.
La prima è incastonata all’interno di un canyon: un contesto suggestivo e raccolto, sempre in ombra e ben protetto da quasi tutti i venti. Questo la rende particolarmente interessante nei periodi caldi o nelle giornate ventose. L’accesso, tuttavia, non è immediato: per raggiungere la base delle vie è necessario percorrere un breve tratto attrezzato, simile a una piccola ferrata. Si tratta di un passaggio caratteristico e affascinante, ma non adatto a famiglie, a chi soffre di vertigini o a chi non è abituato a questo tipo di progressione.
La seconda falesia, è invece più esposta e ariosa. L’accesso è leggermente più complesso rispetto ad altre zone, ma l’ambiente e la qualità della parete ripagano ampiamente lo sforzo. Qui l’arrampicata si sviluppa su calcare compatto, in un contesto più aperto e panoramico rispetto al canyon.
In entrambi i casi la roccia è calcarea e di buona qualità. La vicinanza al paese di San Lorenzo rappresenta un ulteriore punto di forza, rendendo l’area logisticamente comoda e facilmente raggiungibile.

⏪⌚The history of Stella Argeade takes shape thanks to the insight and vision of Graziano Dore, who as early as 2012 recognized the great potential and beauty of the wall. From that year until 2020, he worked consistently on developing the area, equipping and enhancing the various sectors until transforming it into a high-quality crag, appreciated for both the rock quality and the character of its routes.
At the same time, in the Santu Larentu canyon, development was more collective: several local climbers contributed to the bolting, creating a sector that is the result of shared effort. This combination of contributions has shaped a well-structured and interesting area, with its own identity and a strong connection to the local climbing community.

⏪⌚La storia di Stella Argeade prende forma grazie all’intuizione e alla visione Graziano Dore che, già nel 2012, riconoscono il grande potenziale e la bellezza della parete. Da quell’anno fino al 2020 lavorano con costanza allo sviluppo dell’area, attrezzando e valorizzando i vari settori fino a trasformarla in una falesia di alto livello, apprezzata per qualità della roccia e carattere delle linee.
Parallelamente, nel canyon di Santu Larentu, lo sviluppo è stato più corale: diversi climber locali hanno contribuito alla chiodatura, dando vita a un settore frutto di un lavoro condiviso. Questo mix di interventi ha creato una zona ben strutturata e interessante, con un’identità propria e un forte legame con la comunità arrampicatoria del territorio.
