Here, you'll encounter compact granite boulders that might be a bit sharp, but they promise a unique and enjoyable climbing experience. Hidden in the forest, Saleinaz is your go-to spot for summertime climbing, as it's blanketed in snow during the winter months.

Get ready to tackle some of the best lines in Wallis, including "Rêverie Solitaire" (7B), "Power lard" (7A+), and the iconic "Des Roses en Hiver" (8B). These routes offer a taste of the climbing paradise that Saleinaz has to offer. Don't miss the opportunity to explore "La Pierre du Renard" (sword boulder), a fantastic spot perfect for families and kids to enjoy climbing together.

History

Over the years, Saleinaz's boulders have been developed by dedicated local climbers, shaping the area into a beloved climbing destination. While moss occasionally reclaims its place in the forest, a new generation of climbers has stepped in to preserve the legacy, ensuring that the boulders are brushed and ready for continued enjoyment. The area is access sensitive!

🚗 Check the map to find the parking. You have different options. Be sure to leave space for cars to drive on the road and not park directly on a private property.
🚶‍♂️ Follow the trail on the map. You have basically two options, directly at the boulder "Powerlard" or use the main path going to "Sword" boulder - La Pierre du Renard. It's a huge path.

No special rules, but of course bring back your trash and don't be too loud. Don't hesitate to brush the moss on the boulders!
