Lots of variety in a very small area. Rumney favors those that can climb in a variety of styles. No better place to be in October.

Apr. 950 lines , apr. 80 % Sport. Like "Falkkarit" x 10 . Main WALLS are very good, hight up to 35 m. Very popular climbing area , lines between 5.8-5.10b are very occupied during weekends.

Stylistically, I like the climbing. But wow has it ever been overhyped. Camping scene is poor, long lines for routes even on weekdays, high rainfall, long approaches for unbelievably short routes -- it's just not my cup of tea. The rock at least is solid and offers excellent friction. There are some great routes there, though, if you don't mind the lines.
