Description

Nestled in the scenic mountains near the stunning Abudelauri Lakes, this new bouldering crag offers a range of problems currently up to 7B. While it primarily caters to intermediate and advanced climbers, we believe it has the potential for even harder routes in the future.

❗**Important**: This is a very new bouldering area, and most of the boulders have seen few ascents. Some loose rock may have been missed and not completely cleaned. For your safety, please carefully check all holds before climbing

Best Season:
The prime climbing season extends from June to October. It's an excellent time to escape the summer heat, as the mountain climate offers cooler temperatures, though occasional rain showers can occur.

Rock Quality:
The area boasts high-quality rock known for its excellent friction. This superior rock quality provides secure handholds, making for an outstanding bouldering experience. Climbers can expect a reliable and enjoyable surface for climbing.

Potential for Exploration:

Accommodation Options:
Camping in your own tent or van is unrestricted. Additionally, a couple of guesthouses are available.

History

The bouldering area near the Abudelauri Lakes is a new discovery in the climbing community. The first recorded ascents were made recently, on July 7th, 2024, by a small group of dedicated bouldering enthusiasts. This pioneering team explored the region and established the initial set of problems, marking the beginning of what is expected to become a prominent bouldering destination.
