⛰️A small valley hosts the Rocca del Vescovo crag. The area caught the attention of Matteo Ingrassia, owner of the two nearby climbing shops. Originally there were only 4–5 routes bolted by Alessandro Penna, but the quality of the limestone and lines up to 7C made the crag more complete and interesting.

The rock is perfect in sections but sometimes less solid, partly due to exposure. The approach takes about 25 minutes, and its south-west facing walls allow climbing even on cooler days. The crag also has a history of jokes and anecdotes from early visitors, adding to its charm.

⛰️Una piccola valletta ospita la falesia della Rocca del Vescovo. La zona attirò l’attenzione di Matteo Ingrassia, proprietario dei due negozi di arrampicata nei dintorni. In origine c’erano solo 4-5 vie chiodate da Alessandro Penna, ma la qualità del calcare e la presenza di linee fino al 7C hanno trasformato la falesia in un luogo più completo e interessante.

La roccia è a tratti perfetta, a tratti meno buona, complice anche un po’ di esposizione che può influenzare le condizioni. L’avvicinamento è di circa 25 minuti e l’esposizione a sud-ovest permette di scalare anche nelle giornate più fresche. La falesia ha anche una storia di scherzi e aneddoti tra i primi frequentatori, che contribuiscono al suo fascino.
