Alto is easily accessible from Albenga, following the Val Pennavaire. Before reaching the village of Alto, a sharp bend to the right reveals a dirt road that starts right at the bend. Leave your car there (Low Parking) and continue on foot; you’ll quickly reach the fork for Arsenale. If after it you take the road going down the river, you cross the bridge and you go left, you will get to CPR, if you go right after 1.5km you will get to Qartiere and FrigoBar. Continuing straight from Arsenale you’ll soon pass beneath La Corsia, which can also be accessed from the cemetery parking lot in Alto, 50 meters before La Corsia, on the left the trail brings you to Jazz Club Continuing for another hundred meters on the right, a stone path will lead you to the right side of the Red Up crag. After passing this area, you’ll reach Marvel.
For the other crags, don’t stop at the bend with your car, but continue for about 2.5 km, passing through the village of Alto. After this stretch, a parking area on the left (High Parking) will be visible, where you can park. From there, take one of the two trails marked on the app’s digital map. If you go right and follow a small trail in the woods, you’ll find the fixed ropes leading to Calumet. If you go left, you’ll first encounter the Notre Dame cave and, just after, La Similar, if after Notre Dame you take the right small trail, you get in Fuego sector in seconds, if you keep going you will get to Il Kingdom sector, and if you walk down on the rigth from the beginning of the sector you will find on your left L'Edicola after houndred meters, the trail you are on is the one that brings you to the main trail of the other parking, so everything is linked by trails, you can get to any crag from any parking. If from the trail going up in Edicola, you keep going, at the sign on the trail you go down left, you will reach, after a cross in the river, the Grotta di Alto and Amazzonia sectors. WE SUGGEST TO CHECK THE GPS
