Punta Spanu is a great bouldering area by the sea that combines perfectly climbing, swimming and beach chilling.
Boulders feature an excellent granite with many slopers, crimps but also some sort of tufas. Granite friction is generally good, but adverse weather conditions as humidity and high temperatures can make climbing really challenging on hard problems. If you want to climb the hardest line do not come in the middle of the summer or when strong wind comes from West to East.
The total number of problems is close to 70, with difficulties going from 3 to 7B and some harder projects. Feel free to tell us if you climb some first ascents!
Boulders are spreaded on a flat area that guarantees safe landings.
We recommend Punta Spanu to families as the approach is really short and easy, the beach is beautiful and there are many small boulders with easy problems.

The boulder area can be very busy during the Summer, since it is comfortable and the sea is beautiful. Punta Spanu faces the gulf of Calvi and offers a lovely view.

To better appreciate the climbing, try to have the least possible impact on the territory. Wild camping is forbidden, do not make fires, take back all your garbage, do not spoil the vegetation.
Respect places and people who live here.
