Description

Popular, although not the largest rock in the Adia region. Popular probably because of the short approach and pleasant, relatively easy routes. I encourage you to stay there until the evening and enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Even though the place under the rock is not child-friendly due to the cliff, there is a beautiful beach very close by that is perfect for them.

There are several accommodation options in the village of Adia as well as a restaurant. The charming, intimate Chickens Bay beach is also worth visiting.

History

The first routes were created by Artur Pierzchniak (a member of the Polish group of routesetters who 'discovered' the island) in 2018, right after they had finished exploring the main walls of the beautifull Adia Gorge. Proni was never a major exploration target, but over time it turned out that it presented some nice possibilities.

Due to the proximity of the sea, in 2024 the fast rusting bolts were replaced with titanium rings. All the equipment was sponsored by their colleague, Piotr Barabaś, for which great recognition is due. ❤️
