No special access issues
The Crag Plankenfels is located at the village Plankenstein between Waischenfeld and Hollfeld. The Crag itself can be seen from the road if you approach via Hollfeld. To get to the parking you have to get on top of the hill. Just follow the street towards Bayreuth. Just 100 m before the gas station turn left and immediately left again. After 300 m turn right into the street called "plankensteiner weg". On top of the hill where the houses to the right ends leave your car on the left in front of the hedge. There's space for about 7 cars. Pass the houses to your left and turn left again in order to follow the footpath with the yellow circle. It will pass the crag after 6 minutes.
