🚶🏻CHECK the GPS trails on the MAP.
Take the A14 motorway and exit at Val di Sangro. Follow signs for Villa Santa Maria on the SS652 road. Continue through Villa Santa Maria toward Bomba, then follow the signs to Pennadomo.
The last stretch is on narrow mountain roads but well signposted. The whole drive takes you through scenic valleys and forests until you reach Pennadomo, perched on its rocky peaks.
You should park at the designated parking area in Pennadomo.
From the parking lot, proceed on foot through the village heading toward the Placca dell’Oasi. The sector is easy to spot, dominated by a pinnacled rock formation rising upwards.
Beyond this sector, you reach a plateau with a few routes—this is the Solitude sector.
Continuing past Solitude, the trail ends at the base of the stunning vertical face known as the Placche dell’Oasi.
Alternatively, from the parking area, take the steep staircase descending next to the bar and follow the downhill path toward the river. Cross the river via a wooden bridge, then climb up toward the obvious Resegone sector.
Along this path, you will find a fork: taking the right leads to the opposite side, reaching the Resegone Est sector.
