Ölkky

Aurinkoinen rantakallio jonka laella vanha nuotiopaikka, jota ei kuitenkaan enää ylläpidetä. Kallion juurelle pääsee jalan. Seinämän ja veden välissä on muutama metri kohtuu tasaista rantaa josta sopii varmistamaan. Kiven laatu on paikoin hieman murenevaa, ja vaikka reiteiltä irtokivet onkin putsattu niin kypärät kannattaa pitää päässä. Korkeutta kalliolla on enimmillään noin 15 metriä. Ölkky sopii hyvin aloittelevalle köysikiipeilijälle, tai muuten vaan rennon kiipeilypäivän viettoon.

In english: A sunny cliff with an old campfire site on top, that is no longer maintained. You can reach the foot of the cliff by walking. Between the wall and the water there is a few meters of fairly flat shore for belayer to stand. The quality of the rock is a bit crumbly in places, and although loose rocks have been cleared from the routes, its still good to wear helmets. Height of the wall is about 15 meters at most. Ölkky is very suitable for a beginner rope climber, or otherwise just for a relaxed day of climbing.

Kalliolla on muutama vanhempi kiipeilyreitti, ehkä noin vuoden 2010 tienoilta, joiden tekijästä, ensinousuista ja nimistä ei ole tietoa. Jos tiedät jotain vanhemmista reiteistä, niin jätä kommenttia. Pitkän hiljaiselon jälkeen uusia reittejä on putsailtu ja avattu kesällä 2025.

There are a few older climbing routes on the rock, perhaps from around 2010. Makers, first ascents and names of those routes are unknown. If you know anything about older routes, leave a comment. After a long period of silence, new routes have been opened in the summer of 2025.
