Description

This crag contains a very special rock type, Olivin, which is basically sandstone. Therefore you find a lot of slopers, jugs and smears in this crag.

Waterway sector is climbable in slight rain, whereas the forest needs a day to dry.

The rock is either very grippy, or quite polished (Tak 6C+ for example).

Truly a gem of Norwegian bouldering.

There is both granite and olivin around, and the olivin in the waterways should a general rule not be brushed with steel brushes. It's a very efficient way of sandbagging yourself.

You should be noted that there will NOT be sudden flooding of the waterway, as it is regulated. Rather it might, extremely rarely, rise slowly from below.

History

Most activity started in 2023, first by small locals groups, since then Kasper and friends, notably Mike B who came for weeks on end, started brushing fourth, building landings and setting new lines whenever the weather permitted.

A lot has yet to be established and climbed!
