Tyrion, 6c
One of Hægefjell’s most classic routes. Climbs steep walls, a legendary traverse, and a striking dihedral visible from the parking lot. Varied climbing with slab, cracks, dihedral, and a sport crux. Crux is short and steep; other pitches are easier.
1.pitch 40m grade 3. Easy ledges left to tree. Possible to solo.
2.pitch 50m grade 6a+. Slab into dihedral, trending left. Balancy finish.
3.pitch 35m grade 5a. Diagonal left on easiest path.
4.pitch 60m grade 6a+. Step, traverse left, then up to flake ("Superhangel"). Great pitch. Can be split.
5.pitch 50m grade 6a+. Step left and up. Belay under steep wall.
6.pitch 15m grade 6c. Cruxy sport section. Aid (A0/A1) possible.
7.pitch 40m grade 4+. Long rightward traverse. One bolt.
8.pitch 50–70m grade 5c. Grassy dihedral. Optional short pitch to bolt belay.
9.pitch 30–50m grade 6a. Steep crack.
10.pitch 50m grade 5c. Exposed move out of dihedral, then ledges.
11.pitch 40–50m grade 4. Easier ground.
12.pitch 40m grade 5a. Scrambly finish to summit.
