Description

Muro dei caprioli is a recent crag at the entrance of Ledro valley.
The main wall is really interesting, with a smooth slightly overhanging limestone wall with yellowish streaks. It collects almost 20 routes mainly around the seventh grade and quite fingery.
Other sectors generally have easier routes that are great for everyone. There are slabs but also some short vertical walls. The equipment is new and safe.
Approach could result a bit long but the effort will be paid off by the good climbing and the quiet area.
Crag base is comfortable.
The wall has South / South West exposure, so it is a great Winter spot. Mid seasons are still ok thanks to the altitude of almost 700 meters above sea level.

Together with Regina del Lago, Muro dei Caprioli is one of the best crags of Ledro valley. Do not miss this new great spot!

History

The whole crag was developed by Michael Bromsen. His great effort gave Arco a beautiful playground! Thank you Mac!!
