The Islands of Västra/Östra Mörskär and specially Båtskär have plenty of climbing for days. The Islands are far from the coast of Korppoo so you will be totally on your own. (1,5h with motorboat) This means that if anything happens, you will have to manage things quite long by yourself. The phone connection doesnt work on every corner of the islands, the sea is often rough out there, winds are strong and sealevel also goes up and down. (Its good to remember if docking your boat to very shallow water. )The islands are difficult to land on if the sea is rough and windy.
The islands are some of the most beautiful places in Finland. Theres only couple of fisherman huts in the area and you wont probably see anyone else there on your trip. The rock type is good quality granite that is water polished in some places. The rock texture offers still good friction and is not totally glassy.
Climbing is mostly slabs of vertical lines. The islands are usually quite easy to walk around on the flat rock hills without ending into bonsai fields. There are still lots of easy lines to open. Usually you need a wire brush and ladders to clean route a little before climbing, but sometimes the routes are perfectly clean to start climbing straight away.
