⛰️Moon Wall is set on outstanding white Jurassic limestone — abrasive and occasionally sharp — offering excellent friction and a primarily technical style of climbing on compact slabs. Routes range from 10 to 25 meters in length and follow sequences of gouttes d’eau, cannelures, and sharp crimps, resulting in an elegant, precise climbing style that rarely relies on raw power.
The crag is divided into two distinct sectors:
The right sector is slightly more vertical, with sculpted and sustained lines.
The left sector is more gently angled, richly featured, and ideal for delicate, balance-focused movement.
Facing east/southeast, the wall gets sun until around 2:30 PM, making it a great destination in late spring, summer, and autumn. Despite its elevation of around 2000 meters, summer mornings can still get quite warm. The modern stainless steel bolting (10 mm fix bolts with closed-ring anchors) ensures a relaxed and safe climbing experience for all.

⛰️Moon Wall si sviluppa su un eccezionale calcare giurassico bianco, abrasivo e talvolta tagliente, che offre un'aderenza eccellente e un’arrampicata prevalentemente tecnica su placche compatte. Le vie, lunghe dai 10 ai 25 metri, si snodano tra gouttes d’eau, cannelures e tacche nitide, regalando uno stile di arrampicata elegante, preciso e mai troppo fisico.
La falesia è suddivisa in due settori distinti:
Il settore destro, leggermente più verticale, propone itinerari scolpiti e continui.
Il settore sinistro, più appoggiato e riccamente concrezionato, invita a un’arrampicata raffinata basata su equilibrio e posizionamento.
L’esposizione est/sud-est garantisce il sole fino alle 14:30, rendendo il sito ideale dalla tarda primavera fino all’autunno. Nonostante la quota di circa 2000 metri, le mattine estive possono essere calde. La chiodatura moderna e affidabile (fix inox da 10 mm e soste ad anello chiuso) rende la scalata piacevole e sicura per tutti.

⏪⌚Sporadically visited as early as the 1980s by cavers and climbers such as Pucci Giusta, Sergio “Bubu” Rossi, and Mario Canavese, the crag was originally equipped with handmade protection in a mountaineering style. After a long period of neglect, a new phase of development began in 2021 thanks to the Arrampigranda team (Federico Bausone, Keoma Chiavassa, Fiorella Rosa, Oberto Enrico, and Dutto Leonardo), with support from prolific route developer Danilo Collino.

⏪⌚Frequentata sporadicamente già negli anni ’80 da speleologi e arrampicatori come Pucci Giusta, Sergio “Bubu” Rossi e Mario Canavese, fu originariamente chiodata con protezioni artigianali in un’ottica alpinistica. Dopo un lungo periodo di oblio, nel 2021 è iniziata una nuova fase di valorizzazione grazie al team Arrampigranda (Federico Bausone, Keoma Chiavassa, Fiorella Rosa, Oberto Enrico, Dutto Leonardo) con il supporto del prolifico chiodatore Danilo Collino.
