⛰️The Superpippo area still represents a true adventure playground for climbers who are fit and enjoy slightly overhanging terrain, with grades that feel relatively hard, especially when considering the period in which the routes were bolted. It is a sector that offers no gifts and retains a strong, physical character.

The Primo Piano sector, on the other hand, hosts only a few well-designed routes, bolted more recently by Marcello Mariano in 2017. Here the climbing is more modern and readable, while still remaining engaging.

In the L’Isola che non c’è sector you’ll find a small selection of routes, just over ten in total, generally not overly demanding, with grades roughly ranging from 5th to 6th grade. The lines are fun, on vertical walls and short overhangs, ideal for enjoyable and continuous climbing.
The approach is short and not strenuous, and overall the area is pleasant and well integrated into its natural surroundings.

⛰️La zona di Superpippo rappresenta ancora oggi un vero terreno d’avventura per chi è in forma e ama l’arrampicata leggermente strapiombante, con gradi piuttosto severi, soprattutto se rapportati all’epoca in cui le vie sono state chiodate. È un settore che non regala nulla e che mantiene un carattere deciso e fisico.

Il settore Primo Piano, invece, ospita poche linee ben riuscite, chiodate più recentemente da Marcello Mariano nel 2017. Qui l’arrampicata è più moderna e leggibile, pur rimanendo interessante.

Nel settore L’Isola che non c’è si trovano invece una manciata di vie, poco più di una decina, generalmente non troppo impegnative, con difficoltà che spaziano grossomodo dal quinto al sesto grado. Le linee sono divertenti, su muri verticali e brevi strapiombi, ideali per scalare in modo continuo e piacevole.

L’avvicinamento è breve e non faticoso, e nel complesso l’area risulta piacevole e ben inserita nel contesto naturale.

⏪⌚The history of the area is quite distinctive. Superpippo was one of the crags that, during the 1990s, marked a real step forward for local climbing, pushing the difficulty up to 7b, which was a significant grade at the time.

The first single-pitch routes appeared between 1994 and 1995, developed by a group of local climbers, most notably Giovanni Marchi, together with Enzo Leccis from Cagliari. Later on, Marcello Mariano, along with several partners, played a major role in further developing the sector.

Today, the Superpippo sector counts more than 20 single-pitch routes. The Primo Piano sector, on the other hand, was entirely bolted by Mariano in 2017, making it one of the most recent additions to the area.

Overall, this is a climbing area with roots in the 1990s that has continued to evolve and expand right up to recent years.

⏪⌚La storia della zona è piuttosto particolare. Superpippo è stata una delle falesie che, negli anni ’90, ha segnato un vero salto di qualità per l’arrampicata locale, portando le difficoltà verso il 7b, un grado decisamente importante per l’epoca.

I primi monotiri comparvero tra il 1994 e il 1995, grazie al gruppo dei Locals, tra cui spicca Giovanni Marchi, insieme a Enzo Leccis, proveniente da Cagliari. Successivamente arrivò Marcello Mariano, affiancato da altri compagni, che contribuì in modo significativo allo sviluppo del settore.

Ad oggi, nel settore Superpippo si contano oltre 20 monotiri. Il settore Primo Piano, invece, è stato chiodato interamente da Mariano nel 2017, risultando quindi uno dei comparti più recenti dell’area.

Nel complesso, si tratta di una zona con una storia che affonda le radici negli anni ’90 ma che ha continuato a evolversi fino a tempi molto recenti.
