Masua is a unique place on earth, one of the most fabulous areas in Sardinia, and there's a lot to climb too!
As you approach from Nebida you'll be amazed by the gigantic wall facing the rock-stack "Pan di Zucchero". On this wall, there are dozens of sport routes and a fantastic series of multi-pitches over the sea.
The sport climbing area is known as "Castello dell'iride" and the rock is famous for the "drops" formations: little pockets for the tip of your fingers, and hope your climbing shoes will fit inside 😂
You may be concerned about safety, as sea salt can corrode those bolts... Luckily many locals are looking after the routes, replacing equipment on both sport and multipitch routes. Anyhow, please be always careful, and avoid putting too much stress on a single bolt.
